Description
The Minnow is an ultra light packraft which focusses on keeping weight to a minimum whilst maintaining a comfortable paddling position. Using ultra-thin fabric, the packraft is only 1.86kg (white) or 2.12kg (olive) when equipped with the skeg and packs impressively small – you will barely notice you are carrying it on or in your backpack (removing the skeg drops the weight by 86g). The seating position is slightly further forward than the traditional packraft design, improving paddling efficiency and directional stability.
If you want an ultra light yet capable packraft, the Minnow is a great choice! This packraft is designed for calm waters.
Despite being ultra-light at 1.86kg (for the white version), 2.12kg/ for the olive version, the Minnow has a weight capacity of 135kg, and boasts 210d TPU tubes and floor (full spec at bottom of the page). Due to the light weight material used, this model cannot be fitted with internal tube storage using a TiZIP – if you need that functionality, see the Surveyor ultra light packraft.
The Minnow is available in two colours, white with olive seams or olive with black seams. The white colour reflects heat better, keeping the air in the tubes cooler and reducing the extent of air pressure fluctuations. Olive is a popular colour for those looking to blend into their natural landscape and uses a slightly thicker coating which improves scratch resistance over the white version which adds a little weight.
