The Surveyor X2 is the top of the ultra-light range, similar in paddling style to the legendary MRS Barracuda R2, with a streamlined hull, but designed in all aspects to reduce weight. There simply isn’t a tandem packraft in this weight class that achieves the same level of comfort and performance.
Despite being ultra-light at 3.46kg (for the white version), 3.75kg for the olive version, the Surveyor X2 has a weight capacity of 220kg, and boasts 210d TPU tubes and floor (full spec at bottom of the page).
The Surveyor X2 has the option of a TiZIP which allows storage of your gear inside the tubes, adding only 88g to the overall packraft weight.
The Surveyor is available in two colours, white with olive seams or olive with black seams. The white colour reflects heat better, keeping the air in the tubes cooler and reducing the extent of air pressure fluctuations. Olive is a popular colour for those looking to blend into their natural landscape and uses a slightly thicker coating which improves scratch resistance over the white version which adds a little weight.
