This packraft includes removable and adjustable backrest with extra supportive rods, making this packraft easy to adjust to provide you with the most comfortable paddling position. The MRS Nomad S1 for simplicity and to save weight doesn’t come with the removable spray deck that is available on the S1D variant of the MRS Nomad.
Unusual for packrafts, the MRS Nomad S1 also includes a removable skeg which greatly improves tracking and speed when paddling. It is for this reason that the MRS Nomad S1 is a departure from traditional packrafts which, by sitting at the stern (back) have more a tendency to sway when paddling than the MRS Nomad S1 where the paddling position is more central. Combined with it’s streamlined shape, the MRS Nomad S1 is a very efficient and fast packraft.
This packraft is also made using double coated TPU for the floor (420D) and tubes (210D) making it both extremely light and durable. TPU is UV-resistant, durable and makes use of sewn and welded seams.
The MRS Nomad S1 can be used on both calm coastal waters, or river and lakes. If you are after a packraft that can do a bit of everything, the MRS Nomad S1 is for you.
