The RSB2 backrest is an excellent MRS innovation (patented) and helps increase back support and therefore paddling efficiency. Get more out of each strong of the paddle! This is ideal for those who require a more supportive backrest and are tired of normal inflatables with backrests that slip down the back. If you are ordering a packraft, you can add these to your order.
The RSB2 backrest is divided into a front backrest and a rear backrest. The only difference between the two is that the front backrest comes with a horizontal support bar. The front backrest fits the following packraft models: Barracuda R2 (Standard and Pro) front backrest, Adventure X2 front backrest, and Nomad S1 (D). The rear backrest fits these models: Barracuda R2 (Standard and Pro) rear backrest and Adventure X2 rear backrest. Please note that the whitewater and ultralight series are not compatible with the RSB2 and these backrest are only compatible with 2026 packraft models (if in doubt please check before ordering).
The support rod inflatable backrest has long been a patented standard feature on the Nomad series,proven reliable over time.
This design makes full use of the packraft hull to secure the support rods,eliminating many rigid components and resulting in a lightweight, user-friendly structure.
